Bimar Ortho 4
Catalyst OrthoScience 21

Catalyst OrthoScience, Inc.

The Catalyst CSR Shoulder System provides a 510(k)-cleared, bone-preserving, less invasive total shoulder implant solution. The novel implants more closely mimic the natural shoulder anatomy to recreate more normal motion. The stemless design of the humeral implant reduces significantly the amount of bone removed from the humeral head. The streamlined instrumentation improves logistical efficiencies in the healthcare facility as Catalyst has designed a total shoulder system that only requires one single instrument tray and a condensed number of implants as compared to other total shoulder replacement systems.  www.catalystortho.com info@catalystortho.com  (800) 587-5137

FH Orthopedics 12

Now available from FH Ortho Inc.….a metal backed glenoid baseplate and snap in poly insert for cementless use in anatomic shoulder arthroplasty!

The Arrow Prime Shoulder is a Dual-Platform System with 14 years of successful clinical history.

A range of press-fit baseplates can be assembled with either a snap in Anatomic poly insert or a Glenosphere for Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty to address a variety of clinical situations and allowing the use of bone graft for a worn or dysplastic glenoid.

In a 2014 published series of 437 Total Shoulder Arthroplasties – 244 with a cemented all poly glenoid & 193 with a cementless metal backed glenoid, the revision rate for glenoid loosening was 3.3 times lower for the metal backed glenoid.  When necessary to convert to a RSA, using an onlay humeral insert the stem was retained in 76% of the cases, thus avoiding common problems associated with implant removal.  In a 2017 published series the Arrow Prime humeral stem was retained in 89% of the conversions to RSA.

Integra 8

Integra LifeSciences, a world leader in medical technology, is dedicated to limiting uncertainty for surgeons, so they can concentrate on providing the best patient care. Integra offers innovative solutions in orthopedic extremity surgery.

Integra Modular Shoulder System provides a comprehensive shoulder system to address shoulder arthroplasty and proximal humeral fractures.  Integra “Redefines Modularity” by providing diaphyseal press-fitting platform based stems with interchangeable humeral body height and diameter options.  Primary fixation is achieved in reliable diaphyseal bone versus metaphyseal bone with less consistent bone quality. The Titan Modular Shoulder System is fully interchangeable, allowing all anatomic bodies or fracture bodies to be used with either press-fit or cemented stems and then later converted to a reverse shoulder arthroplasty without removing a well fixed stem. Modularity between the body and stem allows for:

  • Press-fit diaphyseal fixation which mitigates the need for cement in fractures or revision cases

  • Additional soft tissue tensioning option in a reverse shoulder arthroplasty by adjusting to taller Reverse Body heights

  • Intraoperative humeral component height adjustment without the need for instrument jigs

  • Version to be altered during conversion from TSA to RSA

Integra Modular Shoulder System provides intraoperative flexibility and reliable press-fit fixation to address varying patients’ bone quality.
